We can for sure recommend this hotel when staying in Helgoland and would like to return. The location is central but its street not busy. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I liked to find one soft and one hard pillow in the bed, whereas other hotels sometimes provide multiple pillow but all of the same kind. The view on the little harbour was calm and charming, with a small cafe and tree on the side. We found sparkling wine and a chocolate as a welcome gift.

A lot of the hotels on the island are in the lower land. This one is in the upper land on top of cliff. This give a wonderful view across the lower land and the dune, which makes up the other part of Heligoland. Also, it is a good starting point for a hike around the island. There are lots of nice restaurants and shops around. The elevator to the lower land is 3 minutes walk. We had a nice big room with seaside view.

Very nice view, very clean and with a lot of space. A bit away from the center but it is not a problem in this island (very small). The keys were to be taken in an hotel in the center but the person at the desk was very nice and sympathic and helpful (and speaks english).

Very nice accomodation just in front of the main walking area and the sea. The room was correct, even though it was an attic and not so big. The price was relatively high to other places, but reasonable for Helgoland. The breakfast was really fantastic!

You’ll get a pincode via email to open the lock on the door. So arrival is easy. Also its very close to the Dune ferry so arrival from the airport is quick and simple. The ferry to/from cuxhaven is a bit further away.

Hotel has a very unique style telling the history of Heligoland and the hotel with newspapers, pictures and artifacts. Room was clever made, maritime style with lots of storage room and a table with comfy-chairs.
